The center provides day care and preschool learning opportunities for children ranging from six weeks old through five years old.  The center serves families in need of an affordable Christian environment for their children from the Venice, North Port, Englewood and northern Charlotte County areas.

On August 7, 2006 we started the new school year in our newly renovated classrooms. This year we have added two infant rooms capable of caring for four babies in each room. This has added a much needed benefit to our surrounding community.

The center is open five days a week from 7:00am to 5:30pm and is staffed by a full-time Director, an Assistant Director, seven full-time teachers and one part-time aide.  Our Director is certified as a Day Care Center Director under the State of Florida’s new requirements.  In June of 2005, the Center was awarded accreditation as a Gold Seal Day Care Center.  This status means we are among the best qualified Day Care Centers in the state.  Our Child Development Center is also a participant in the state-wide Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program, which is partially funded with State funds.  We currently have ten children in this program.

The Center is a member of the Better Business Bureau of West Florida and operates as a nonprofit organization. For detailed information on Preschool and Childcare, please contact The Director, Child Development Center, 497-5563
